When you visit the Craigslist website, you’re automatically directed to their online classifieds for your city. Not all locations have a Free section, but if yours does, it’s a great place to find free baby stuff.
15. eBay
eBay is a great alternative to Craigslist (and typically better-trusted too). You might have to manually select your location, but you can also search for free baby stuff available locally here. There’s no guarantee you’ll find anything, but it never hurts to try!
16. Facebook
Long gone are the days where Facebook was only a place to connect with friends and family.
In addition to the Facebook Marketplace (which you should also check for free baby stuff), there are dozens of groups dedicated to helping new and expecting parents find essentials free of charge.
You can do a quick search using the term “free baby stuff” to find more accounts and groups, but here are our favorites:
17. NextDoor
NextDoor is a forum app that allows neighborhoods to chat online. You’ll find everything from local crime updates, lost pet posters, and – of course – freebie offers.
Simply search the app’s “For Sale & Free” menu section and narrow it down with the “Baby & Kids” category. You might even be able to negotiate low-priced items to be handed over for free if you offer to pay it forward once you no longer need the items.

Reddit is another fantastic online chat forum that can be used for just about everything. You can always conduct a quick search for more threads with free stuff on offer, but here are our 3 top recommendations:

19. Your Pediatrician
Doctors, hospitals, and – yes – your local pediatrician – receive free samples from companies hoping to find new clients. Most of the time, they end up sitting in their boxes gathering dust.
You aren’t guaranteed to get anything, but it never hurts to ask. If your pediatrician hasn’t already given everything away, you might even be able to get the whole sample box!
It’s worth talking to your doctor about free samples even if they don’t have any to offer you immediately. Not only might they be willing to keep the next box they receive for you to collect on your next visit, but they could help you sign up for other special baby clubs.
Sample Boxes
Doctors aren’t the only ones who get free sample boxes. While we can’t guarantee we’ve been able to uncover as extensive a list as your pediatrician might have to offer, we have found 4 of the best places that offer free sample boxes to the public.

20. Baby Box University
Baby Box University is a great initiative that offers free educational courses online for parents. When you complete a course, which typically includes video lessons and a short quiz, they’ll send you a Baby Box.
Not only is a baby box a unique alternative to cribs and cradles (one that’s reportedly favored in Finland), but they usually come full of free samples too.
The only caveat is Baby Box University isn’t available everywhere.
21. The Honest Company
The Honest Company doesn’t technically offer free sample boxes: instead, they operate as a subscription service. If you do sign up, you can select how often you want them to send a box of baby stuff – as often as every 3 weeks or as little as every 6th week instead.
You may be wondering why we’ve added them to our list if they don’t offer free sample boxes. Well, that’s because the Honest Company does offer a free trial!
Simply select which type of Discovery Kit (sample box) you want to receive: the Diapers and Wipes Bundle or the Essentials Bundle. While the former is pretty self-explanatory, the latter typically contains a wider range of baby items.

29. Printable Baby Book Pages
There’s a slight caveat to this option being free – instead of paying for shipping, you need to spend some money on printing and a $1 binder at Walmart. But you can head to C’Mon, Get Crafty for a free download template of a printable baby book to make yourself!

Free Baby Diapers
Diapers are an unavoidable expense. But other than getting several washable cloth diapers, you can also get free diapers from these 8 companies.

30. Abby & Finn
You can get a free trial pack with 8 diapers and 20 baby wipes from Abby & Finn. There’s no strings attached, so you won’t be obligated to purchase anything (though you may decide to keep using their products, of course).

31. Cuties
Although they don’t always have free samples available, diaper brand Cuties is always worth checking out. Simply fill out their application form and once they have freebies, they’ll send you a sample pack at no cost to you.
32. Dyper Diapers
Dyper Diapers don’t only offer a free trial pack of their diapers, but they sometimes have great promotions too. For example, they currently have a special deal where you’ll get a free diaper bag when you subscribe for a diaper delivery at $64/month.
33. Earth Baby
Depending on your zip code, you might be able to take advantage of the Earth Baby Compostable Diaper Service free trial.
The company recommends placing your first order 2 weeks before your due date, but if you already have enough diapers to last at least a fortnight, you can place your first order any time.
What’s especially great about Earth Baby is they’ll deliver to your door as often as you want.
And for as long as you’re subscribed to their services ($33.99/month excluding product costs), they’ll come to collect their diapers once a week – after they’ve been used, of course. Earth Baby will then oversee the decomposition process, which takes just 14 weeks.

34. Luvs
Luvs is another diaper brand that offers free samples. You’ll need to sign-up for a free account and opt to receive their email offers – the first email you receive will include details about their free samples.
You can opt to cancel your email subscription afterward if you like, but we’d suggest keeping it open. Luvs will periodically send you exclusive promos and coupons if you do.
35. The National Diaper Bank Network
The National Diaper Bank Network is a non-profit organization that collects diapers to help families in need. We don’t recommend taking advantage of the network if you aren’t truly in need. But if times are truly tough and you’ve run out of options, reach out to them.
36. Naty Eco Diapers
If you’re looking for an eco-friendly option, then Naty Eco Diapers might be the one for you. Free Baby Formula Samples
If you’re not breastfeeding, or you want to alternate between breast milk and formula, you should know baby formula typically costs between $50 and $100 a month.

Enfamil will make a second appearance in the next section, but we couldn’t skip mentioning their free toddler formula sample offer. It’s only 10 oz., but it’s a great way to test Enfamil’s products without having to commit to their Family Beginnings program.

The second standalone offer for free baby formula samples comes from Nature’s One.
This one is a little different to Enfamil’s, as you’ll need to register for a free customer account and select the product’s SKU before hitting the green “Add Free Sample” button. Nature’s One will ask you to fill out a short survey before adding the sample to your shopping cart.

This is the section you’ve been waiting for! We’ve mentioned it (and the next one) a few times already in our article. If you’ve made it this far, you’ll be glad to know it was worth the wait.

41. Enfamil

One of the best rewards programs we’ve found is the Green Nursery’s Baby Bucks.
